Lithuania has a long farmhouse beer tradition, which dates back to the 11th century when it was brewed for ancient Baltic festivals and rituals. Beer is the most common alcoholic beverage in Lithuania, and while the country isn’t known for its beer industry, it is unique in that it has maintained its own independent traditions.
