I found this while roaming up and down the mirco-brewery aisles with a beer rating app in hand. I didn’t want to buy another beer that would be disappointing so I tapped into other’s opinions and found a good one without ever hearing about this brewer. The first thing I noticed was the head. A 2 finger, long lasting, fluffy head that has set a personal record for hanging around. This head gets an A. The color is a beautiful clear, amber red. Color gets an A. This is full of pop and sparkle. The effervescence is long lasting and attractive. So far another A. Aroma is hoppy with florals. A. The taste is an intense floral combined with citrusy hops but a moderate malt with caramel notes that gives a nice backbone. Here I’m going with a B. The strong hops not only provides great flavor but a bitter finish. Mouthfeel is medium and smooth. A very nice beer. On top of it all that their website is one of the most useful I’ve come upon. The cost was cheaper than the double IPAs I like as well and the experience was close to the same.
